Life changes so quickly

Life is changing so quickly!
It's been almost sixteen months since I blogged and things have changed so much. I see my last post and realize  I had been to a World Cup warm up game between India and New Zealand, thats indeed far behind.
I moved from Chennai to USA for my master's leaving home, amma and friends, leaving behind lot of emotions and bonding. The moment I came here, I literally cried, cried and cried, missing mom was something which took me days to overcome. It's going to be a year since I came here and this is undoubtedly the fastest year in my life. Things are changing so fast that at some times I feel, I should go back in time and live certain times of my life back again.

SRT

India's proud possession. Every single Indian looking upto this man during tough situation and every kid which goes to bat tries to imitate Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar.
Two decades in international front without being into controversies, without showing emotions on the field, with millions of expectation every time he goes from the dressing room. Sachin Tendulkar has done this for twenty long years which no normal human can even dream of doing. I'm as old as Sachin's career and indeed he's the GOD for millions around. I ve always wanted to see him play cricket, talk to him and even today when i see his 200* innings tears trickle down.I'm gifted to be born in the era of God. When I explain this to my kids it would be analogous to my grandfather talking about Sir Don Bradman without any coherence. When I did get a chance to see Sachin play i did grab it. I watched Sachin practice and play cricket for the first time in my life, I could watch the India Vs New Zealand match in Chepauk,Chennai. I was early to the stands just to see how god looks like and when he did enter the field with a red t-shirt and grey shorts there was huge roar from the pavillion. A figure which resembled a sixteen year old has dominated the entire bowling fraternity was hard to believe. He practiced fielding, played football and did what he could do the best-batted. Almost the entire 5 hours which Sachin spend on the field my eyes were just looking at him. Whenever Sach was in action there were huge roars in the gallery, sachin fielding , Sachin walking , sachin running and he should be quite used to this.

GOD wanted to play cricket and incarnated as Sachin Tendulkar,
Dedicated to all Million hearts which love him,
Indian team please win the WC-2011 and give this guy the thing he deserves for all his contributions.

Pongal times..

Happy Pongal to all readers!
Have a Great time!

I ve experienced 20 pongal days(i'm 20 yrs old :D,hence the equation!) each one being distinct times at home with little memories of certain pongal days.

let me recall whatever i remember.....
Pongal in the year 1997 is one interesting day to re-call at anytime,We celebrated Pongal in our Independent house in K.K.nagar,which had a huge well amidst lush green gardens having mango tree to jack fruit tree. The well had shadows filled throughout the day.As far as my memory goes,we kept all the cooking near the well with a couple of sugarcanes near it, the highlight comes now,i had a 20rs Drum kinda thingy which made a lot of noise if banged,my sister had a go on this thing...and know what we did?!we both ran around the house...i was dancing to the tunes of the drum...shouting Pongalo pongal, and my sister never stopped banging, almost all our neighbors had a huge suprise looking at us and probably they thought.."Are these kids retarded?!,they seemed to be normal till last nite!" ,my parents would ve thot "nala school la dane padika vekarom...en inda koothadi thanum?!",but they were laughing throughout the day.

********
The Next one i can recall is Pongal 2007,"Adiyum Odhayum kalandhu vechu vidya vidya virundhu vecha Pokkiri Pongal Pokkiri Pongal" and "dole dole dan adikiran" on tv from morning to night".I got up late as always...mom yelling "you havent studied anything for Pre -boards exams..I'm not responsible if u fail in the exams" and stuff like that, while me and dad as always,we were watching songs on tv and vijay interviews on all channels.I was sitting with Comprehensive Physics book with lots of frustation. My sister returned From Pune just then, she was an assistant software engineer--I remember words like Project leader,on site call etc associated with her during those days :D

*********

Pongal days are different these days, more simple, less noisy at home!Anyways its starting to get really hot in Chennai, its too hot during nights :-(!The Marghazhi days have come to an end and lets welcome the coming days:-)

have a great time people!

2010

Its like time is flying so quickly :)
I feel its just 2001,when we moved into our new apartment, where i got a lot of new friends to play with, afternoon computer games, evening cricket, chat during nights at the terrace and finally face the tough side of my parents :P,The typical scenario is like this--my dad on the dining table--My mom opens the door--I Enter the house, pretending to come home after a tough day at office,Run to the restroom,Five mins later,I'm shocked to know that my mom knows my english marks before i opened my mouth about it.Then things go as it has to,My dad is as always a silent spectator and his steady eyes which keeps looking at me while i talk makes me poo.
Time has just gone by so fast and i sit in corners of my house thinking of all the events which went through the last decade, many happy moments and many sad ones.We ve accepted all as it comes and life has changed immensly.
**************
Its 2010 now,Wish you all a Very Happy New year and let this year be filled with lots of happiness and fun :)
have a gr8 time people :)

How would it be!?

Units are almost coming to an end!
and many a times in class i dream...Especially during Linear integrated circuit hour,Am in a different world
And during one such dream...I was dreaming "How would it be like to be a VVip?"
And I was thinking myself to be Mahendra singh Dhoni...
And how would my daily regime change...
ANd this is how it went...

Morning 5am i(dhoni) wake up!From a cool,cosy bed!
Look into my mobile...
6new messages and 4 missed calls
2 missed calls from yuvraj singh...and 2 messages from him ,which reads..."आ पार्टी देता है"
1 message from Sachin tendulkar..."Hey MSD...message me the dates for Champions trophy selection"
1 message from Shrikanth.."Get ready man...dates are closing"

i drop my mobile replyin to the messages..get down to the living room..
"maa...coffee lekhe avao"
i get my daily cup of coffee...and I open to the sports news in the paper...
"dhoni the best captain till date"
i feel i ve accomplished something in life but there are better ppl than me..the statistics show that am the first batsmen in the world..which i dint realise when on field ...shocking reality..uh?

I switch on NDTV..."Dhoni slams Media"..."man i was so tensed the other day and u guys taunted me...u media guys trouble me!"

I get to the bathroom and have my bath.
Move out to the entrance of my house
Ten black cats run "quick quick quick" is wat I hear..and there is huge jiffy outside...the guys take their position(man i was too normal ten years back..hmmm..part of life)
they accompany me to the practice grounds...where small children..stare at my car...saying dhoni dhoni dhoni...the moment it enters the ground.
kids get autographs signed frm me...and look at me as though they ve looked at god.

I then go to shopping mall near my house !
And there is a heavy chaos people running to me,girls shouting at me,children trying to touch me!
I pick a couple of shirts and start to my house
I look at the roads where i used to play cricket during me childhood, get into some nostalgic feeling.(wish i had remained normal)

I get to a road side shop on the way..get down from my car!
(the shop i used to eat during my under-10 days)
the shopkeeper runs to me and hugs me!
Security push him off..away from me!(life really gets cruel when money comes aint it...?? the man hugged me with affection guys)

On the way i get call From Sourav ganguly..wishing me advance friendship day and best of luck for the ranji match next week

I return home have a nap...play on my playstation games locked in my room...attending VIP calls, declining modeling calls and messages for the rest of the day!

*************************

LOL!
I look outside to see DIGITAL LOGIC CIRCUITS staff standing!
Man i need to wake up! i cant sleep this hour or day dream!
but it was quite an interesting dream :D

O god!

One day I decided to quit...
I quit my job, my relationship, my spirituality. ..
I wanted to quit my life.
I went to the woods to have one last talk with God.
"God", I said. "Can you give me one good reason not to quit?"
His answer surprised me...
"Look around", He said. "Do you see the fern and the bamboo?"
"Yes", I replied.
"When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took very good care of them. I gave them light. I gave them
water.
The fern quickly grew from the earth. Its brilliant green covered the floor. Yet nothing came from the bamboo
seed.
But I did not quit on the bamboo. In the second year the Fern grew more vibrant and plentiful.
And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo. He said.
"In year three there was still nothing from the bamboo seed. But I would not quit.
In year four, again, there was nothing from the bamboo see.
I would not quit." He said.
"Then in the fifth year a tiny sprout emerged from the earth.
Compared to the fern it was seemingly small and insignificant. ..But just 6 months later the bamboo rose to over
100 feet tall.
It had spent the five years growing roots. Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive.
I would not give any of my creations a challenge it could not handle."
He said to me. "Did you know, my child, that all this time you have been struggling, you have actually been
growing roots?"
"I would not quit on the bamboo. I will never quit on you."
"Don't compare yourself to others." He said. "The bamboo had a different purpose than the fern. Yet they both make
the forest beautiful."
"Your time will come", God said to me. "You will rise high"
"How high should I rise?" I asked.
"How high will the bamboo rise?" He asked in return.
"As high as it can?" I questioned.
"Yes." He said, "Give me glory by rising as high as you can."
I left the forest and bring back this story.
I hope these words can help you see that God will never give up on you.
